Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use the PDF365 website and its tools. Please read them; by using the site you agree to them.

1. About us

https://pdf365.co.uk is operated by Shipra, 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7DE, England, United Kingdom (“PDF365”, “we”, “us”). Contact: contact@pdf365.co.uk.

2. Using the tools

PDF365 provides free tools that run in your web browser to view, convert and modify PDF and image files. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes in line with these terms.

You must only process documents you are entitled to use. In particular, you must not use our tools to remove protection from documents you are not authorised to unlock, to infringe anyone’s copyright or other rights, or for any unlawful purpose.

3. Your files

Files processed by our browser-based tools stay on your device and are not transmitted to us. You remain responsible for your documents and for keeping your own copies. We recommend keeping your original file until you have checked the result.

4. No guarantee of results

We work hard to make the tools accurate and reliable, and we describe their limitations on each tool page. However, PDF files vary enormously and some may be processed imperfectly. The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that they will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Visual signatures created with our Sign PDF tool are images placed on a page. They are not certificate-based digital signatures, and we make no representation about whether they meet the requirements of any particular transaction.

5. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Because the tools are free and run on your own device, our total liability to you in connection with the site is limited to £100.

If you use the site as a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect.

6. Intellectual property

The PDF365 name, logo, website design and written content are owned by us or our licensors. The tools are built with open-source software, used under their respective licences. You may not copy or republish our content without permission, except for brief quotations with a link back.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to disrupt the website, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, scrape it at a volume that affects other users, or use automated means to access it in a way that overloads it. Security researchers are welcome to contact us to report issues responsibly.

8. Links and advertising

The site links to external websites we don’t control and aren’t responsible for. If advertising is introduced, ads are provided by third parties and do not constitute our endorsement.

9. Changes

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or advertising, and the date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there.
