How to delete pages from a PDF

  1. Open your PDF

Every page appears as a thumbnail.

  2. Mark pages to remove

Click a page to mark it in red, or type page numbers such as 3, 7-9.

  3. Review

The summary tells you how many pages will be removed and how many will remain.

  4. Delete and download

A new PDF is built from the remaining pages.

Key features

Genuinely removed

Deleted pages are left out of the new file entirely. Some tools only unlink pages, leaving their content recoverable; we rebuild the document instead.

Clear visual marking

Pages marked for deletion are faded and labelled, so you can see the result before you commit.

Quick selection

Remove all even pages, say, to drop blank backs from a double-sided scan.

Safety check

You can’t accidentally delete every page; at least one must remain.

Deleting pages and privacy

When you remove a page because it contains information you don’t want to share, it matters that the content really goes. This tool copies only the pages you keep into a fresh PDF, so the deleted pages’ text and images are not present in the output. If you need to hide part of a page rather than the whole page, be aware that drawing a box over it is not the same as removing it; our PDF privacy guide explains why.

Security and privacy

Delete Pages runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed in this tab’s memory and never uploaded to PDF365 or anyone else. When you close the tab or press “Start over”, the data is discarded.
