Key features
No loss of quality
JPG files are placed into the PDF exactly as they are, with no recompression, so your photos look as good as the originals.
Phone photos come out the right way up
Cameras often record rotation separately from the picture. We read that information so portrait shots don’t end up sideways.
Flexible page sizes
Fit pictures onto standard A4 or Letter paper, or make each page exactly the size of its image.
Automatic orientation
With Auto selected, landscape photos get landscape pages and portrait photos get portrait pages.
Getting the best results from photographed documents
Photograph paper documents in good, even light and hold the phone parallel to the page. Crop the photos before converting if your phone’s editor allows it, so the PDF pages aren’t mostly tabletop.
Phone cameras produce large files. If the finished PDF is too big to email, run it through Compress PDF; scans usually shrink a great deal. Our guide to scanning documents with your phone has more tips.
Security and privacy
JPG to PDF runs entirely in your browser. Your images are processed in this tab’s memory and never uploaded to PDF365 or anyone else. When you close the tab or press “Start over”, the data is discarded.
Photos can contain hidden details such as the location they were taken. The images in your PDF are embedded as they are, so if that matters, remove location data in your phone’s photo settings before converting.

Questions about JPG to PDF
Can I convert several JPGs into one PDF?
Yes. Add as many images as you like (up to 200 at once). Each one becomes a page, in the order shown.
Will my photos lose quality?
No. JPG and PNG files are embedded without being re-encoded. The only exception is a photo that the camera stored mirrored, which has to be re-saved to display correctly.
Does it support HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Not directly, because most browsers can’t read HEIC. On an iPhone, set Camera › Formats to “Most Compatible”, or share the photo as JPG first.
What page size should I pick?
A4 is standard in the UK and most of the world. Choose US Letter for documents going to the United States or Canada, or “Same size as each image” to avoid any white margins.
