  4. Download

Create the PDF and save it. Images are placed losslessly.

Key features

Lossless embedding

PNG data is stored in the PDF without conversion to JPG, so text in screenshots stays crisp and readable.

Transparency preserved

Transparent areas in your PNGs remain transparent in the PDF and show the page colour behind them.

Edge-to-edge pages

Margins default to none for PNGs, which suits screenshots and slides exported as images.

Mixed formats

Combine PNG screenshots with JPG photos in a single document if you need to.

Making screenshots into a readable document

Screenshots taken on a phone are tall and narrow. Choose “Same size as each image” so each page matches, or A4 portrait with a small margin if the document will be printed.

PNG files can be large. If the PDF needs to be smaller and the images are photographic rather than text, Compress PDF can convert them to JPG inside the PDF.

Security and privacy

PNG to PDF runs entirely in your browser. Your images are processed in this tab’s memory and never uploaded to PDF365 or anyone else. When you close the tab or press “Start over”, the data is discarded.
