Key features
Page ranges per file
Take the cover letter from one document and pages 4 to 9 from another, without splitting anything first.
Mixed page sizes are fine
A4, US Letter, landscape slides and scanned receipts can sit side by side. Every page keeps its original size and orientation.
Quality is untouched
Pages are copied as they are. Text stays selectable and images are not recompressed, so nothing gets blurrier.
Large batches
Merge up to 100 files at once. Work runs in a background thread, so the page stays responsive while it happens.
Tips for a clean merged PDF
Name your files with numbers at the start, such as 01-contract.pdf and 02-appendix.pdf, and the Sort A–Z button will put them in the right order instantly. Numbers are sorted naturally, so file 10 comes after file 9 rather than after file 1.
If the merged file is too large to email, run it through Compress PDF afterwards. To add page numbers that run across the whole combined document, use Add Page Numbers on the merged file.

What a merge does not keep
Merging copies each page with its text, images, links and annotations. Bookmarks (the outline panel some readers show) and fillable form fields are not carried across, because combining them from several documents often creates conflicts. If you need working form fields, fill and flatten each form before merging.
Security and privacy
Merge PDF runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed in this tab’s memory and never uploaded to PDF365 or anyone else. When you close the tab or press “Start over”, the data is discarded.
Password-protected PDFs can’t be merged until they are unlocked. If you know the password, remove it first with Unlock PDF.

Questions about Merge PDF
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
Up to 100 files, with a combined size of around 600 MB. The practical limit is your device’s memory. A laptop handles hundreds of pages comfortably; an older phone may slow down with very large scans.
Will merging reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text remains sharp and searchable and images keep their original resolution.
Can I merge only some pages from each file?
Yes. Type the pages you want in the box under each file, using commas and hyphens, for example 1-3, 5, 8-. A range ending in a hyphen runs to the last page.
Why can’t I add a password-protected PDF?
An encrypted PDF can’t be read without its password. Use Unlock PDF with the password you were given, then merge the unlocked copy.
Is it safe to merge confidential documents here?
Your files are combined inside your browser and are not uploaded to any server. You can confirm this in your browser’s network inspector while the merge runs.
