Privacy policy
This policy explains what information PDF365 handles, why, and your rights. The short version: the files you process with our tools stay on your device, and we don’t use tracking cookies.

Who we are
PDF365 (“we”, “us”) operates the website at https://pdf365.co.uk. PDF365 is run by Shipra, 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7DE, England, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Shipra is the data controller for the limited personal information described below. You can contact us at contact@pdf365.co.uk or by post at the address above.
Your documents
Every tool currently available on PDF365 processes files entirely within your web browser. When you choose a file, it is read into your browser’s memory on your own device, processed there, and offered back to you as a download. Your documents, the passwords you enter into our password tools and the signatures you create are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we have no access to them.
Data is held only in the memory of the browser tab. It is discarded when you start over, choose a different file or close the tab.
If we introduce tools that need server-side processing (see our roadmap), they will be clearly labelled, will ask for your consent before any upload, and this policy will be updated first to explain how those files are handled and deleted.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider receives technical information when your browser requests pages from us: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser’s user-agent string. This is needed to deliver the website and to protect it against abuse.
The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd, which processes these server logs on our behalf and keeps them for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, as described in Hostinger’s privacy policy. Hostinger also operates the content delivery network that serves our pages.
We do not use analytics software, advertising trackers or social media pixels.
Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to improve the site, and we delete correspondence when it is no longer needed, normally within 24 months.
Cookies and local storage
PDF365 does not set cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. This is never sent to us. See our cookie policy.
Lawful bases
- Server logs: our legitimate interests in running a secure, working website.
- Correspondence: our legitimate interests in responding to you, or steps you ask us to take.
Advertising
To keep PDF365 free, we intend to show advertising provided by Google AdSense in the content areas of the site. Advertising is never shown inside a tool, and ad providers never have access to your documents, which stay on your device.
When advertising is active:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
- Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before any advertising cookies are set, and can change their choice at any time.
You can learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Our cookie policy will list the specific cookies before advertising starts.
Sharing your information
We don’t sell personal information. Server log data is processed by our hosting provider on our behalf. When advertising is active, Google receives information as described above. We may disclose information if required by law.
International transfers
Our hosting provider is based in the European Union, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection for personal data. Where Google or other providers process data elsewhere, they rely on safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights to access your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise them, email us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, although we’d appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
Children
PDF365 is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Significant changes, such as introducing advertising or server-side tools, will be highlighted on the site.
